How amazing is this opportunity that 3rd year RMIT design students got.......

10 students were selected to participate in a workshop with country road to style their new collection. They were encouraged to look to the trends of the catwalk while also incorporating themselves into the look..... creating something different and wearable....

The fashioned focused jewellery label Alexandra Blak is the work of Australian based designer Alexandra Anson.

The designs are so minimal but the material and shape of each piece make her collection so interesting. Great statement pieces if you want to incorporate a splash of colour or bold shapes.

I'm designing a jewelry line for my Retail Design class at the moment so I spent all of yesterday researching my potential competition got to know the market!!!

DJ's may have a 37 million dollar lawsuit against them but they still managed to put on a high class show for their spring/summer 2010 launch collections.

I love it how our our top acts, (Abbey Lee, Catherine McNeil) still come back and walk in Australian designs. Missing in action though was Miranda Kerr who is enjoying her honey moon.

As much as I adore zimmerman, I am a bit disappointed with this range. I don't love the black and white diagonal checks. To me the brand it all about delicate fabrics that evoke a beautiful femininity.... bring back the floral silks!!
