Derby Day

Here is Melbourne the spring racing is an annual festive and fashionable season! I'm almost finished with pushing through my semesters assignments and are so excited for this Saturday coming which is Derby Day. The black and white day for the ladies of fashion  is always a stylish day. This year I'm lucky enough to be in the nursery again where we are have had food, wine and I'm sure huge of fun and laughs organized for us!! only trouble is now deciding on an outfit of what to wear..... ahhh pressure

Love for Gemma Ward

Who misses Gemma Ward in the modeling world?? I do I do. She was always one of my favorites. Her baby doll beauty was envied around the globe.

Currently she has been focusing on acting.. i loved the part she played in the australian film 'the black balloon' along side Toni Collette and ex Home and Away star Rhys Wakefield. It was a beautiful film. Her next movie gig is a complete blockbuster.... Staring in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, as Tamara, Queen of the Mermaids. She meet Jack Sparrow (no other than Johnny Depp of course) during his search for the Fountain of Youth. 

owww how exciting, I'm sure she will look stunning as a mermaid, can't wait to see it

David LaChapelle is shooting you!

David Chapelle, world renowned celebrity photographer is coming down under as part of a promotional campaign for the new Nokia N8.

Taking a break from his usual subjects such a Gisele, Cameron Diaz and Lady Gaga. He is going to be photographing the public using the Nokia N8 camera phone... interesting campaign isn't it?

The public is encouraged to come across to the Queensbridge Square in Melbourne on Saturday the 23rd of October for a chance to get in one of his iconic pics. But there's also a chance to secure yourself a spot by heading over to the Nokia Australia Facebook fan page where you can enter for a chance to be snapped with a buddy at the ImaginN8 studio in Melbourne (flights to melbourne are also included!!)

Talk about it!

Fashion for a worthy cause!

The cotton on foundation together with 'youth beyond blue' have produced limited edition tees designed by a group of aussie celebrities. The project 'Talk about it' was launched last week in an effort to raise money for youth depression and anxiety. Each tee purchased $10 of that will go to the Youth Beyond Blue foundation, buyers will also receive an exclusive code that allows u access to an exclusive music creation by Temper Trap.

You can purchase your tees online here or head in into a store to support the cause. Its such a great initiative by cotton on and fingers cross they raise a heap of money for such an important foundation.

Zimmermann Warehouse Sale yeppee!

so excited this friday I will defiantly be heading over to South Yarra for the ZIMMERMANN warehouse sale!!! I havn't spent any of my dollars this week so I have my fingers crossed for some bargins :)

 At the moment I have been looking everywhere online for the perfect black long skirt.... any ideas?

I have been adoring the look of the long black sheer skirt for awhile and have been anxious to get some time in order to attempt to make one. Hopefully I can find the perfect material soon and can give it a go.

I made a gold maxi last week, I was proud of my quick last min construction technique. I want to do an outfit post to find out ur thoughts on how I went :)
