As Melbourne Spring Fashion Week wraps up so does my studio uni stress. I finally presented my design interim presentation, unfortunately the the amount of work and stress I had last week stopped me from going to a lot of things I was hoping to go to including having to miss out on Melbourne Spring Fashion weeks Show 3 on Thursday night. I bought tickets awhile ago, two of my beautiful girlfriends went though and said it was a beautiful show. It showed a short peak into the collections of Alice McCall, Arabella Ramsay, Bettina Liano, Gorman, Leopold, LIFEwithBIRD, Manning Cartell, Nevenka, Nicolangela, Obus and Wayne Cooper. Check out the review.
Thankfully I did get to pop across to Made in Melbourne show on saturday night before heading home for more CAD time. Made in Melbourne was created in 2009 as part of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week showing boutique/up and coming labels such as Mina&Katusha, Caro, Lisa Taranto, Marion Liese lingerie, Borsha, NeoDia and Silk and Ink (who I visited at the Northcote markets awhile back, click here to check it out). I managed to take a couple of snaps. There was some really interesting stuff and the space in the Old Trust Building on flinders lane was beautiful. Some garments were auctioned off at the end of the night raising money for the McGrath Foundation.
wish I had more time to go to more things, there was so much on but I am really happy I am de-stressed now :)
